Money Does Buy Wins

I’m learning a cool data viz software, Tableau, and thought I’d try out an interactive chart on salaries and MLB success. Turns out that teams with bigger payrolls tend to win more games. Imagine that.

The best way to mess around with this viz is to enlarge the screen by clicking the bottom right button below. You can then look at salaries and wins by year. If you click on a team, the figures on the right will highlight how many home runs and hits they had that year.
